Dr Hodge is one of only a handful of Australian ENT surgeons who has completed a dedicated fellowship in Airway surgery and Airway Stenosis. She had the privilege of training with Mr Guri Sandhu in the United Kingdom, who is one of the world’s experts in airway stenosis or narrowing. As a result of this mentorship, Dr Hodge has developed advanced skills in both endoscopic and open surgical treatment of airway narrowing. In particular, Mr Sandhu is world-renowned for his laser treatment of airway narrowing, having pioneered many of the laser and endoscopic operations himself.
